We all need to eat…and eat many times a day! And, food is medicine, either supporting health or challenging it with its biological forces. I would love to teach you about the enlivening and healing benefits of food!
Because food is a sellable and profitable commodity, we are targeted with more food choices than ever, yet many, many of the choices eagerly presented to us do not provide the nutrition we need to thrive. And many are not just less than adequate nutrition, you might even say they are very bad mojo!
An easy example is the vegetable oil that most fast-foods are cooked in. It is from genetically modified plants, extracted with poisonous chemicals and damaging heat, (often the same chemicals used in dry cleaning!) and used repeatedly until it is burned. This rancid, oxidized, and burned oil is proven to create destructive free radicals and some of our most formidable diseases within the body. Yet it’s not illegal, not even close. Yikes!
The bottom line is we need to be intelligently informed, not pursued and persuaded, in order to make wise choices.

What is Food as Medicine Coaching?
In a Food as Medicine Coaching session, we focus on the relationship you have with food. Are there foods that you love that you know aren’t so good for you but you aren’t sure what to replace them with? Do you need help with emotional over-eating? Do you want to learn how to weave superfoods into the fabric of your cooking?
